Odyssey Oracle Cards

Description

Embark with Ulysses on the greatest adventure ever recounted! Paolo Barbieri portrays an episode from the Odyssey in each card of this Oracle deck: the mermaids, Polyphemus, Calypso, and the witch-goddess Circe are only a few of the legendary characters that you will encounter on this epic, memorable voyage. The perils of Ulysses’ journey parallel the many struggles that one faces throughout life, while the cunning tactics adopted by the navigator represent the possible solutions to adopt to overcome the obstacles. After all, Homer’s story is but a metaphor of the spiritual journey you will have to undertake to finally reach the safe shores of your personal Ithaca.
